It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Mabel Schoelzel of Cassville, Missouri, born in Maywood, Illinois, who passed away on August 20, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Christiansen and Eleanor Christiansen (Oetting); her husband Jerold Elroy "Jerry" Schoelzel; and her son Justin "Dusty" Schoelzel. She is survived by: her children, Jeffery Allen Schoelzel (Debbie Evans), Jay Michael Schoelzel (Stacey Cochran), Jon Matthew Schoelzel (Denise) of Cassville, James Patrick Schoelzel of Cassville, Missouri, Janet Lee DeShazer (Mark) of Wheaton, Jean Neal of Baxter Springs, Judy Lynn Rodriguez (Josẽ) of Rocky Comfort and Jerricay Dyer (David) of Butterfield, Missouri. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
