He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Zane LeCompte and James William "Bill" LeCompte. He is survived by: his friend Chloe Epperly; his wife Gayle Ann LeCompte; his children, Danielle Dove LeCompte (Ryan Thomas), Gabrielle Dawn LeCompte and James William "Wil" LeCompte III; his brother Richard LeBoyd LeCompte (Nancy); his nieces and nephews, Remy and DeVere LeCompte; his aunt Marylyn Hilton; and his grandson Boyd William Thomas.
In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the SONbeam Preschool of the United Methodist Church in Cassville or The Maren Fund, a non-profit educational organization for children with Down Syndrome, in St. Louis.
