He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Plummer and Ruth Plummer (Springer); his sister Donna; and his son John Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Selma Simmons; and his children, Robert Thompson (Dianna) of Cassville, Paul Thompson (Natalie) of Louisiana, Craig Thompson (Francis) of Oregon, Teresa Thompson of Phoenix and Edith Thompson of Cassville, Missouri. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and thirty-two great grandchildren.
