He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bert Charlson and Dorothy Charlson (Evans); his wife Lorri Charlson of Eagle Rock; his daughters, Katy Charlson (Stefanie) of San Diego and Laura Charlson (Christine) of Ashland, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Marissa, Jarod, Jacob and Ethan.
