He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Freddie Brattin and Juanita Brattin (Smith); his children, George Brattin, Edward Brattin, Missy Willis (Jeff), Melanie Fulks (Gary) and Juanita Delano; his siblings, Everett Brattin, Farris "Bud" Brattin, Jennetta Harrison (Bobby), Alice Varner (Larry), Brenda Erway and Francis "Sug" Kennemer; and his cousin Jackie Howell (Kermit).
