He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Eugene and Kathleen Francis Phillips (Aery); his brothers, Robert Phillips, James Phillips and Kenneth Phillips (Tad); and his nephew Zack Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Phillips; his stepchildren, Eric Davis (Nicole) of Denver, Colorado, Katie Sparks (Billy) of Wellston and Kristen Sims (John) of Newalla, Oklahoma; his brothers, Larry Phillips (Barbara) of Cassville and Buford "Bud" Phillips (Jean) of Shawnee, Oklahoma; his sister-in-law Joy Phillips of Shell Knob, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Abby, Mia and Riley. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
