He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Nickle and Genevieve Nickle (Widener); his daughter Christine Nickle; and his siblings, Jim Nickle and Pauline Coatney.
He is survived by: his spouse Edeltraud "Trudy" Verderber; his son Bruce Nickle (Debra) of Cassville, Missouri; his grandchildren, David Seal, Christopher Nickle, Stacy Watson, Jared Ellis, Jordan Ellis and Jameson Ellis; and his great grandchildren, Jack, Emily, Ashley, Helen, John, Jericho, Jace, Jaylen, Jeremiah, Ryder, Remy and Lakyn.
