He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Cowherd and Montez Cowherd (Sapp); and his sister Vella Dean Newton. He is survived by: his wife Connie Cowherd of Cassville; his daughters, Angela Cowherd and Jennifer Hinds of Cassville; his grandchildren, T. J. Frieze, Jewell Frieze and Clay Frieze; and his siblings, Rex Cowherd (Jan) of Bentonville, Jim Cowherd of Springfield and Kay Cowherd of Springfield. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
