He was predeceased by: his parents, William Smith and Rose Smith (Woodell); and his siblings, DeWayne Smith, David Smith and Kathy Farmer.
He is survived by: his children, Austin Smith of Shell Knob, Stephanie Carlson of Washburn and Rachel Wagner of Dallas, Texas; his siblings, Donnie Smith (Kandi) of Berryville, Arkansas, Cindy Leftwich (Bill) of Clifty, Lisa Todd (Allen) of Clifty and Angela Smith of Nome, Alaska; and his sister-in-law Beverly Smith of Jenkins. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
