He was predeceased by: his father Emerald D. Edwards; his grandparents, Paul, Hazel Buttrum, Newport and Goldie Edwards; his brother Ronald Edwards; and his stepbrother Greg Sayree.
He is survived by: his mother Margie Edwards (Buttrum) of Kansas City, Kansas; his stepson Jason Samuelson; his siblings, Johnny Carter of Kansas City, Casey Sayree of Olathe, Kansas and Nancy Taffner (Charlie) of Jasper, Missouri; his sister-in-law Sarah Edwards of Kansas City, Kansas; his grandchildren, Serenity, Trinity, Zarah and Lysion; and his pet Sandman. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
