She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Samuels and Clorene Walker Samuels; and her husband James Richard Lee. She is survived by: her son David; her daughter-in-law LeAnn Lee of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and her daughter Belinda Siverly of New Mexico. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
