She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Rolland Hopkins and Veva Hopkins (Garrison); her siblings, Robert Hopkins, Darrell Hopkins, Peggy McCain and Frankie Vanderpool; her sons, Rick Lester (Jeanenne) of Lawrence, Donnie Lester (Michelle) of Joplin and Brian Lester (Sara) of Overland Park, Kansas; her siblings, Wendell Hopkins (Fern) of Cassville, Jimmy Hopkins (Sharon) of Cassville, Jay Hopkins (Ann) of Pleasant Hope, Missouri and Donna Guzman of San Jose, California; her grandchildren, Josh, Julie, Tony, Bradley, Addison, Mason and Miles; and her great grandchildren, Harper and Logan.
