He was predeceased by: his parents, John Durie and Marion Durie (Heathman). He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Durie (Huse); his daughter Melissa Owens (Chris) of Pittsburg, Kansas; and his sister Jean Hugel of Spring Hill, Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
