It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Edward Reeves (Caruthersville, Missouri), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on June 20, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Edward Reeves and Mary Frances Smith Reeves; his children, Mary Grace Reeves, Emily Warren Reeves and James Owen Reeves; his close friend Jennifer Spence (Matt Spence); his sister Frances Reeves; his niece Abigail Andrews; his pets, Dottie and Odie; and also Riese Scott Spence. He was also cherished by relatives, friends.
He received the Bar Foundation Appellate Advocacy Award as well as the University of Missouri School of Law Distinguished Recent Graduate Award. He was a member of the Missouri State Board of Law Examiners, Missouri Bar Association Board of Governors, Supreme Court Committee on Access to Family Courts, American Bar Foundation and the Missouri Bar Association.
