He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend James W. Stevenson and Sister Rosetta Stevenson; and his siblings, James Lawrence Stevenson, Ronald Wendell Stevenson, Barbara Jean Stevenson-Swift, Carol Stevenson-Perry and Cynthia Stevenson.
He is survived by: his daughter Rayna Hawkins; his siblings, Craig Stevenson of New Mexico, Patricia Mack of Gary, Joyce Stevenson of Memphis and Brenda Jo Stevenson-Boley of Texas; and his nieces and nephews, Lisa, JamesII, Kenya, Joseph, Jordan, Roderick, Dustin, Zachary, Belinda, Samuel, Solomon, Chenear, Craig Jr., Robert, Willie and Church. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
