We are sad to announce that on July 9, 2020, at the age of 95, Melba Taylor of Caruthersville, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Cravens and Mary Turrentine Cravens; her husband John A. Taylor; her child Anetha Lavonne Taylor-McDonald; and her brothers, Herman C. Cravens, Carl A. Cravens, John W. Cravens, Lester H. Cravens and Oscar Cravens, Jr..

She is survived by: her son Jon A. Taylor, Jr.; her sisters, Ruth Cravens Wright, Daisy Cravens Cabean and Esther Cravens Sampson; her son John A. Taylor, Jr. of Harrisburg; her grandchildren, Andrew J. McDonald of Quincy and Analise M. McDonald of Decatur, Illinois.; and her sisters-in-law, Odester M. Taylor Tate and Essie Taylor Carter of Fresno, California.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews other relatives, neighbors, friends.
