She was predeceased by: her parents, W. C. Thornton and Rosa B. Graves Thornton; her husband Thomas Daniel Day; her daughter Shirley Ann Ault; and her siblings, Harley Thornton, Harold Thornton, Odell Thornton, Norma Palmer and Billie Bell.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Daniel Day, Jr. (Tommy), Betty Sue Geurian and Rose Jacqueline Puttman; and her brother Curtis Thornton. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, a number of great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
