John Stepp Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John Stepp of Caruthersville, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John left this world on January 12, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Stepp and Evie Carnell Stepp; and his siblings, William, Marvin, Jimmy, Evelyn, Jean and Shirley.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Jarred Stepp; his children, Johnnie Watson (Ron) of Sikeston, MO, Anthony Stepp (Denise) of Jackson, TN, Tammy Yates of Caruthersville, MO. and Kim Lee (Richard) of Caruthersville, MO.; and his grandchildren, Starla Moore, Shonae Rogers, Shain Schoolcraft, Jeremy, Jarred Yates, Randall, Justin, Jon Conner Lee, Marc and Chance Stepp. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and close friends, as well as his church family.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at 1400 State Hwy U, Caruthersville, MO 63830. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at the Maple Cemetery (Caruthersville, MO 63830).
In order to honor him and his desire, the family is asking that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Jesus Name Tabernacle Building Payoff Fund. In lieu of flowers, please give memorials to the Jesus Name Church Payoff Project.
