He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Edmisten of Caruthersville, Missouri; his children, Wanda Edmisten of Louisiana, Wendy Edmisten of Maryland, John Edmisten, Jr. of Louisiana, Sharon Bigler of Louisiana, Suzette White of Louisiana, Mark Edmisten of Arkansas and Carol Edmisten of Louisiana; his stepsons, Michael Craig of Missouri and Daniel Craig of Tennessee; and his siblings, Jack Edmisten of Missouri, Jerry Edmisten of Arkansas and Patsy Donnahue of Arkansas. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; three step grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
