He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernie Jones and Christine Jones of Caruthersville, Missouri.; his wife Joan Chapman Jones; his brother Harold; his sister-in-law Mary Jones; his son Drew; his daughter-in-law Kerri Jones; and his granddaughter Haley Karnes.
He is survived by: his children, Claire Kneer (Mark) of Cape Girardeau and Peyton Powell (Bebe); his stepson James Powell; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Nathan Karnes of Cape Girardeau, Riley Jones of Columbia, Garrett Jones of Springfield and Chapman Powell (Amber) of Wetumpka; and his brother-in-law Teddy Burnett (Joyce) of Kennett.
The family asks for donations to be made to Christ Episcopal Church, Saint Francis Medical Center Foundation (Auxillary or Hospice).
