Gene Tarpley Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 17, 2020, at the age of 91, Gene Tarpley (Caruthersville, Missouri), born in Brinkley, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey V. Tarpley and Mina V. Burgess Tarpley; and his brothers, A. V. "Blackie" Tarpley and Frank C. Anderson. He is survived by: his former wife Martha Marie Ledbetter; his wife Marie Tarpley of Caruthersville; his sons, Gene Tarpley Jr. and Frank V. Tarpley; his grandchildren, Joshua Tarpley, Sr. and Michele Tarpley Genereau; and his great grandchildren, Tristen Genereau, Joshua Tarpley, Jr. and Kelsi Genereau. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
