He was predeceased by: his parents, Garlan McTernan and Edna Buchanan McTernan; his significant other Wenzola McTernan; and his siblings, Helen, Bettye, Millard, Robert and John.
He is survived by: his daughters, Wenlan Reno (William) of Caruthersville, MO, Roblyn Melton (Jeffrey) of Farmington, MO and Terri Ann Callen (Denny) of Caruthersville, MO; his grandchildren, Erica Prater, Lara Knowlan, Chris Callen, Dexter Callen, Drayton Callen, Todd Hatch, Tiffany Drumright and Allison Hatch; his brother-in-law Herman "Dennie" Green; and his nephew David Keith (Mary). He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
