She was predeceased by: her parents, William Isom Cowen and Leona Ophelia Bolton Cowen; and her siblings, Ruby Clark, Jewell Medlin, Evelyn James and Floyd Cowen. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
