She was predeceased by: her parents, Pleas William Cagle and Mary E. Tate Cagle; her husband Bill Shelby; her son Preston Shelby; her stepdaughter Linda Darnell; and her grandson Brandon Nielson.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Wayne Riddle, Bill Shelby, Jr., Rena Kelley and Symantha Shelby; her stepdaughter Peggy Sue Lindsey; her grandchildren, Billy Riddle, Crystal Johnson (Antonio), Taylor Ragins, Carlos Riddle of Steven Ragins, P. J, Shelby, Breanna Shelby, Billy Shelby III, Shawn Lindsey, Christy Ortiz (Frankie), Dena Crews, Drew Darnell and Danny Ray Darnell; her great grandchildren, Lucas, Hunter, Liliana of Carlie, D. J., Peighton, Roman, Corbin, Summer, Nova, Harper, Jianna, Xavier and Josiah; and her friends, Darla Eubanks and Wanda Matlock. She is also survived by her kids but also the grandkids.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the H. S. Smith Funeral Chapel (808 Ward Ave, Caruthersville, MO 63830). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at the Maple Cemetery (Caruthersville, MO 63830).
