It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Keith Clapper of Carthage, Missouri, born in Wentworth, Missouri, who passed away on August 12, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Clapper and Ruth Clapper (Berrier); and his sister Alice Watson. He is survived by: his wife Sally Clapper; his daughters, Paula Brooks (Scott) and Tammy Penrow (Michael); his granddaughters, Heather Dabney (Jared) and Breanna Brooks; his great grandchildren, Skaia Brooks, Drew Dabney and Jonah Dabney; and his siblings, Nadine Mazur, Phyllis Clapper, Joyce Starchman, Nancy Blinzler, Susan Foster and Jerry Clapper. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
Memorial gifts are suggested to Grace Episcopal Church or American Lung Association in care of Knell Mortuary.
