He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Archie Studyvin and Nancy; his wife Barbara Joines; his son Douglas Studyvin of Carthage, Missouri; his grandsons, Dr. Erick Studyvin (Cavanaugh) of Carl Junction, Chad Studyvin (Erica) of Joplin, Missouri and Taye Witherspoon; and his sisters, Nancy Warren and Mary Louise Kaughman. He was also cherished by two great-grandchildren.
