She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Morgan and Lola Morgan (Williams); her husband Mick McCarty; and her siblings, Ted Morgan, John Morgan, Doris Pippin, Ruby Kenkennan and Beth Lansdown.

She is survived by: her sister Ann Mitchell; her sister-in-law Phyllis Morgan; and her children, Diane Young, Jeannie Neel, Jackie McCarty, Leona Hong and Mickey McCarty (Trish). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family and many friends.

The family suggests contributions to the Alzheimer Association in care of the Knell Mortuary.
