He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Butcher and Evelyn Butcher; his wife Katie; his children, Phillip, Timothy, Jon, Tammy, Debbie, Don and Heather; and his siblings, Hank, Charles (Chuck), Ray and Dawn.
He is survived by: his grandson Phillip; his son Master Sculptor Hiko Maeda; and his granddaughter Jessi.
