We are sad to announce that on July 12, 2021, at the age of 70, Sally Carnes of Carthage, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Neal Carter and Frances Ruth Carter; and her brother William "Bill" Carter. She is survived by: her children, Tray Carnes of Carthage, Amanda Bittick of Carthage and Shannon Mitchell (Cortney) of Jasper; her sisters, Peggy Ball (Wally), Cathy Cook, Donna Volk (David), Terri Broadwater (Mike) and Tammy Snyder; and her grandchildren, Kolby Mitchell, Logan Maggard, Carter Mitchell, Shaylee Mitchell, Seth Mitchell, Shane Mitchell and Corey Mitchell.

“I am so sorry that Sally has passed. She was a very caring and considerate person. She loved her family, kids and grandkids. She was truly one of a kind and she will be greatly missed by all. Sally fought a tough battle, never complained and never gave up. Cancer is a horrible disease and creates havoc in people's lives and takes people way too young. I have great memories of her in Las Vegas and wish we could have had many more trips. Janet A. Carter”
