He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lee McConnell Sr. and Doris Naomi McConnell (Lamb); his wife Phylliss McConnell; and his sister-in-law Denise McConnell. He is survived by: his son Paul McConnell (Laura) of Ellenwood, Georgia; and his siblings, Darrell McConnell of Carthage, Gary McConnell (Sherry) of Joplin and Donna Draper (Frank) of Claremore, Oklahoma. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
