With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Paul Smith of Carthage, Missouri, who passed away on September 19, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Smith and Ruby Smith; his son Danny Smith; and his siblings, Robert Smith, Kenneth Smith, Donald Smith and Evelyn Vaughn.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Smith; his children, Paul Smith (Cyndi) of Carthage, Sharon Logan (Sam) of Mount Vernon and Karen Keeler (Kenny) of Wichita, Kansas; his sister Janice Smith of Greenfield, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Ben, Chris, Tammy, Jeremy, Jessica, Adam, Landon, Whitney and Wesley. He is also survived by 31 great grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.
