He was predeceased by: his parents, Dick Cossey and Lois Cossey (Moreland); his wife Norma Cossey (Smith); his son Terry Cossey; and his brother-in-law Elroy Jones.
He is survived by: his sister Diane Jones (Cossey); his children, Randy Cossey (Pam) of Carthage, Debbie Lee (Gary), Kelly Lee (Brent) of Carthage and Linda Epperson (Rob) of Webb City; his daughter-in-law Teresa Cossey; his grandchildren, Gary Wayne Lee (Tresha), Carly Donn Webster, Karrie Jackson (Kyle), Randy Cossey (Stormi), Chance Lee (Stephanie), Dusty Epperson (Jess), Chelsey Hood (Chance), Dalton Cossey (Chyenne), Austin Cossey (Sara), Caitin Dewald (Jeff) and Taylor Cossey; his great grandchildren, Samantha, Tucker, Kierra, Corbin, Ashlynn, Brody, Zoiee, Harlee, Waylon, Carl, Avari, Case, Haven, Lili, Khross, Khrayton, Cedar, Summit and Paxton; and his great great grandchildren, Corbyn, Berklee, Markus, Bexlee and Elliee.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Weng Funeral Chapel (605 S Main St, Jasper, MO 64755). A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fairview Friends Cemetery (12339 County Road-180, Carthage, MO 64836).
