She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis K. Cortez and Leta M. Cortez (Irwin); and her brothers, Lewis Cortez, Arthur Cortez and Shirrell Cortez.
She is survived by: her former husband Lewis Oliver Busch; her children, Mary Benita "Teena" Busch and Lewis Busch; her granddaughters, Tisha Baker and Danielle Busch; her great grandchildren, Jeffrey Buckner, Ja Ron Baker, Dacia Busch and Dedan Busch-Roberson; and her siblings, Ralph Cortez, Bruce Cortez (Nancy), Cedric Cortez (Jan), Connie Moss and Sandra Griffin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many extended family and friends.
Memorial gifts are suggested to Alzheimer's Association in care of Knell Mortuary.
