It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lavera Irene Gipson (Carthage, Missouri), born in Sugar City, Colorado, who passed away on October 17, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross Watts and Edith Watts (Wesner); her husband Chester Gipson; her son Don Gipson; and her siblings, Max Watts, Roscoe Watts, Morris Watts, Connie Dell and Iona Murphy.
She is survived by: her children, Bill Gipson (Tracy), Beverly Turner (Larry) of Carthage and Deb Gipson of Carthage; her grandchildren, Beth Gipson, Becky Gipson-Hopper, Ross Gipson (Veronica), Donovan Edwards (Traci), Adam Turner (Jennifer) and Andy Turner Sarah (Heather); her great grandchildren, Jacob Schmidt, Ellie Schmidt, Charlie Hopper, John LaBrie, Maria LaBrie, Tagen Rawlins Madison (Michael), AJ Turner, Jadin Turner, Whitley Turner, Ava Turner, Nora Turner and Graham Turner; her great great grandchild Maverick Rawlins; and her sisters, Leona Suiter and Wilma Hinshaw.
