She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Steely and Florence Belle Steely (Cox); her husband Donald Hern; her son Mike Bruton; and her siblings, Paul, Leroy Steely, Judith Ellis and Frances Steely.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Jones (Katherine) of Carthage and Lisa Robinson (Charlie) of Claremore, OK; and her grandchildren, Taylor, Kahlie, Aaron, Deidra, David, Kate, Sayra, Tracy, Verlina and Jake. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
