It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny Allen Whitehead (Carthage, Missouri), born in Jasper, Missouri, who passed away on July 4, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Whitehead and Butice Whitehead (Payne); his wife Delores Laney; and his siblings, Don, Dwight, Robert and Bonnie Burt.
He is survived by: his sons, Allen Whitehead (Beth) of Carthage, Mike Whitehead (Stephanie) of Carthage and Greg Whitehead (Erin) of Carthage; his grandchildren, Zach Whitehead, Matt Whitehead (Stephanie), Charlie Whitehead (Kris), Andy Whitehead (Jessi) and Adrianne Whitehead; his great grandchildren, Hannah, Michael, Clayton, Lauren, Kinley, Aubrey, Ethan and Colin; his great great grandchild Peyton; and his sisters, Bea Osborne and Nancy Cross.
