He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Spangler and Marian Spangler (Dayton); his children, Jo Ann Dalton, Tracy McIntyre and John Spangler Jr.; and his siblings, Wayne Spangler and Ann Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Conway; his children, Terry Spangler (June) of Seymour, MO., Winnie Louden (Kenneth) of Fidelity, MO. and Deb Bailey (Dale) of Carthage, MO.; and his brothers, Carl Spangler (Charlene) of Carrollton, MO. and Harold Spangler of Oklahoma City, OK.. He is also survived by five grandsons, one granddaughter, six great-grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews.
