Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved John David Hartley of Carthage, Missouri, who passed away at the age of 88, on January 21, 2022. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Hartley and Doris "Shirkey" Hartley; his wife Merlene Gilliam; and his siblings, Don Hartley, Bill Hartley, Dorothy Carter and Joan Tronsgard.

He is survived by: his daughter Terri Drenick (John) of Pittsburg, Kansas; his brother Richard Hartley of Carthage; his grandchildren, Shane Drenick and Haley Markley (Brad); and his great grandchildren, Aubree Markley and Nash Markley.
