He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Ross Bedford Brown Jr. (Helen Hilda "Krummel" Brown); his sister Mary Beth Campbell of Carthage; his niece Cathy Johns; and his nephew Bryan Campbell.

Contributions may be made to Faith Lutheran Church in Pittsburgh KS or to the charity of choice in Joe's memory in care of Ulmer Funeral Home.
