She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty Edwards and Walter Edwards Jr. (Slim); her brother Jim Edwards; her mother-in-law Clara Thompson; her grandfather-in-law Lea Pringle; her grandparents, Jennie, Hugh Reynolds, Josie and Walter Edwards; her nieces and nephews, Kevin Edwards, Jareb Edwards, Megan Root and Stephanie McNamara; and her brother-in-law Adam Root.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Eden Sims, Emma Sims and Joyce Maggard; her children, Alicia Herd (Justin) of Tulsa, OK, Misty and Gregory; her grandchildren, Eden Sims Avilla and Emma Sims Sarcoxie; her siblings, Joe Edwards (Gayla), Jerry Edwards (Sandy), Jackson Edwards (Pat), Joyce Maggard of Sarcoxie, MO, Jennie Edwards of Sarcoxie, MO and Jeanie Root of Sarcoxie, MO; and her sister-in-law Lucille Edwards Rigby of Idaho.
