He was predeceased by: his parents, Hillard Hampton Dotson and Elsie Alice "Payne" Dotson; and his son James W. Dotson Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Glen Dotson of Carthage, Karen Myers (Rex) of Diamond and Kathy Vice (Robert) of Purdy. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
