He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Andy, Jason and Christia; his daughter-in-law Nancy; his grandchildren, Drew, Cameron and Erica; his daughter-in-law Karen; his grandchildren, Nate and Emily; his wife Virginia Sue; and also, Paul and Braden.
Once George was retired, he spent many enjoyable hours in his garage, the "cannon factory," where he made numerous historical cannon replicas to either give away as gifts or donate to charity.
