She was predeceased by: her parents, Wynand Veldhuizen and Catherine Veldhuizen (DeYong); her husband Gerrit Brouwer; her brother Wayne Veldhuizen; her sister-in-law Betty Veldhuizen; her son-in-law Archie Brons; and her great grandchild Tripp Postmus.
She is survived by: her children, Vernon Brouwer (Gloria) of Jasper, Minnesota, Linda Anderson (Lyle) of Luverne, Minnesota, Leah VanMeeteren (Darrell) of Luverne, Minnesota, Nancy Carter of Prescott, Arizona, Paul Brouwer (Julie) of Webb City, Missouri and Steve Brouwer (Cassie) of Joplin. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
