It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Douglas Merle Krause of Carthage, Missouri, born in Belle Fourche, South Dakota, who passed away on January 25, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Roger Krause; his wife Lisa Krause; and his brother-in-law Dave Key. He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth "Betty" Krause (Doak); his former wife Diane Fergeson; his sons, Beau Douglas Krause (Crystal) and Garrett Krause; his grandchildren, Kaden Douglas Krause, Jensen Krause and Kennedi Krause; his siblings, Dan Krause (Patricia) and Gloria Key; and his nephews, Jason Douglas Krause (Tawni) and Michael Key (Tina). He is also survived by many extended family and friends.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Wounded Warrior Project in care of Knell Mortuary.
