He was predeceased by: his parents, Montie Turnbow and Leona Turnbow (Thies); his sister Mary Manis; and his grandson Christopher Turnbow. He is survived by: his wife Linda Kirk; his children, Cristy Higgs (Don), Neil Turnbow and Dustin Turnbow; his siblings, Linda Svenneby, Dorothy Thompson and David Turnbow; his grandchildren, Stevie Ryan and Brianna Higgs; his great grandchildren, Wylee Ryan, Sadie Ryan and Davy Nickerson; and his mother-in-law Eloise Kirk.
The family suggests contributions to St Jude's Children's Hospital or Crossroads Baptist Church in care of the Knell Mortuary.
