It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Irvin Shores of Carthage, Missouri, who passed away on January 24, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Shores and Berniece M. Shores (Hosney); his former wife Betty Shores; and his daughter Kathy Sue Shores. He is survived by: his wife Judith Bartlett; and his children, Billy Irvin Shores, II (Beth) of Tulsa, Chris Shores (Belinda) of Carthage, Michael Shores of St. Louis, Missouri, Sarah Shores Barton (Michael) of St. Louis, Terri Shores Jones (Ralph) of Coffeyville, JaJean Gray of Carthage and Curena Dixon of Carthage, Missouri. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church.
