She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Key and Aline Key (Scannell); her husband Roy Thornton; her son Keith Allen Cotton; her granddaughter Marla Combs; and her grandson-in-law Bob Ralston.
She is survived by: her children, Karla Webb (Mike), Karen Cronk (Larry), Del "Bub" Cotton, Jr. (Joanna) and Teresa Gault (John); her sisters, Becky Kinsgbury and Bonnie Barron (Richard); her friend Sonnie Aikins; and her pets, Mitzy and Ginger. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Knell Mortuary (308 W Chestnut St, Carthage, MO 64836). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
