With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Louise Hood of Carterville, Missouri, born in Carthage, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 12, 2024 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mark Jones and Florence Jones (Coady); her daughter Susan Diane Hood; and her close friend Jerry Martin. She is survived by: her sons, Billy Hood of Carterville and Rick Hood (Rose) of Webb City, Missouri.; her grandchildren, Mike Hood, Ricky Hood, Nickie Peluso and Lacie Jones; and her siblings, Arthur Ewing, Richard Jones, Jane Leal, Freida Beam and Rose Selves.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Curtis Cemetery.
