It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard L. Brayton of Carrollton, Missouri, who passed away on March 20, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard L. Brayton to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Brayton (French) and Arthur Brayton; his wife Shirley Mae McCoy; and his stepgrandson Tyler Waddingham. He is survived by: his children, Peggy Burgess (Dale) of Des Moines and Jim Brayton of Carrollton, Missouri; his sister Linda Allwood of The Woodlands, Texas; his grandchildren, Jaime Waddingham (Jeff) of Norfolk and Chad Burgess (Carla) of Little Canada, Minnesota; his great grandchildren, Landry Waddingham, Lexi Waddingham and Arthur Burgess; and his siblings-in-law, Archie McCoy of Carrollton, Missouri and Barbara Sturgeon of Carrollton, Missouri.. He is also survived by several nieces; several nephews.
