It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patty Sue Lyon of Carrollton, Missouri, born in Mosby, Missouri, who passed away on January 31, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oren Clarence and Frances Audra Lee (Clevenger); her husband Harry Glendon Lyon of Carrollton; her sister Billie Dean Adams; and her siblings-in-law, Bonnie Ann Lee, Doc Adams and Paul E. Proffitt.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Sue O'Neal of Carrollton, Lloyd Glen Lyon (Christal) of Carrollton, Ronald "Ronnie" Wayne Lyon (Marcia) of Carrollton and Larry Joe Lyon (Pam) of Carrollton; her grandchildren, Amy Hughes (Gary), Stacy Kretzer (Steve), Susie Allen (Matt), Brandon O'Neal (Brandy), Matt Lyon (Andrea), Jason Lyon (Chrissy), Bobbie Jo Pack (Kevin), Christopher Lyon (Stacey), Dustin Lyon (Mary) and Brianne Brown (Matt); her great grandchildren, Josh, Andrew, Caden, Trinity, Audrey, Bryce, Brooke, Madysen, Logan, Maddox, Raegan, Ellie, Jacob, Rhylee, Jessica, Patrick, Katie, Keegan (Shayna), Anakin, Caylin, Jerzi, Tyler, Collin and Jack; her great great grandchild Daxton; and her siblings, Jesse Lee (Debbie) of Excelsior Springs, Jerry Wayne Lee of Excelsior Springs and Carol Kathleen Proffitt of Richmond. She is also survived by her family and friends.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Beaty/McCroskie Creek Cemetery, the H.E.L.P. Services Cancer Fund, or the Carroll County YMCA.
